AL State Senator Arthur Orr
"Arthur now chairs the almost $15 Billion Senate Finance and Taxation Committee for state government. He also chairs the Joint Legislative Fiscal Committee, Elections Commission, Wrongful Incarceration Committee and other State Boards. Arthur sponsored legislation which brought transparency and accountability to state election laws through internet filing for candidates and other measures. His law to put the state check-book and contacts online provided increased fiscal transparency to Alabama. He continues to champion open and transparent government."

AL State Representative Howard Sanderford
"After 136 years of Democrat control of our state legislature, voters across Alabama set a mandate for change. I am proud to be a part of the new Republican majority and am honored that the voters of the twentieth district have selected me as their Representative for another term. But now that the election is over, the real task of governing begins. Everyday, I will strive to bring about open, honest government that the good people of Alabama deserve. I look forward to voting in the majority for the first time and am excited about the bright future of our state."
